Event Details

Árō, the debut restaurant by Chef Johanne Siy, opens at 15 Mohamed Sultan Road in 25 September 2026. 

The name draws from two words: in Latin, arō means to plough, till, or cultivate; in Johanne's hometown dialect, áro means love. Together, they form what she calls a "labour of love" — not anchored to any single nationality, cuisine, or geography, but expressing the full arc of her lived experience through what she terms "Creator's Cuisine."

Through an ingredient-led tasting menu, Johanne invites guests to discover the people, places, and craftsmanship behind every dish.
