Leading up to and over the captivating race weekend, indulge in the Speed & Splendour High Tea Set ($68++ for two persons), available at Wildseed Café in 1-Flowerhill. Get a head start on the savouries such as the Chilli Crab Kueh Pie Tee that sees two beloved dishes meld into a delicious bite of sweet and spicy chilli crab within a crispy pastry tart shell; the sweet-savoury Pandan Churros with Garlic Aioli, a fun snack with an irresistible dip; and Mini BLT Croissant starring the classic combination of bacon, lettuce, and tomatoes. Switch gears to a spread of sweets, from the ANZAC Biscuit Sandwich - house-baked golden oatmeal and desiccated coconut cookies with maple cream cheese sandwiched in between; to the Passionfruit Financier, an all-time favourite marrying tart, tropical passionfruit with chocolate; and Ondeh Ondeh Tart with coconut almond cream, gula melaka, and pandan white chocolate cremeux nestled in a buttery tart, along with a dusting of coconut flakes.
