On 26 November 2025, Rempapa by Chef Damian D’Silva begins a new chapter at National Gallery Singapore, bringing heritage flavours to one of the nation’s most iconic cultural landmarks. Relocating to the National Gallery marks a significant milestone for Rempapa, and coincides with the opening of Chef Damian’s second concept, Gilmore & Damian D’Silva — a tribute restaurant dedicated to his grandfather. The move is also deeply personal: Chef Damian spent his formative years in the former Supreme Court, living in its caretaker quarters — a full-circle return to the place that shaped him.

While Rempapa’s multi-ethnic focus remains, the new outlet spotlights rice-based dishes and local favourites, anchored by Signature Nasi Lemak sets from $9.90+ with side options such as Ayam Berempah ($15.90+), Sambal Sotong ($18.90+), and Lamb Shank Rendang ($29.90+), alongside a housemade Kaya Toast on thick shokupan ($4.90+). Designed as a fully self-service concept for quick, casual dining, Rempapa continues Chef Damian’s mission to preserve and pass on the flavours of Singapore’s past — keeping local cuisine embraced, accessible, and relevant for the next generation.
