GRANNYCORE: WHERE TRADITION TASTES LIKE HOME
Classic institutions with vibes and bites that Ah Ma will approve
RED HOUSE SEAFOOD
Celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year (yes, FIFTY!), Red House Seafood is the definition of heritage done right. Since 1976, this homegrown icon has been serving up Singapore Nanyang-style seafood — think southern Chinese techniques woven with Malay, Indian, and Peranakan influences. It's the kind of place where grandparents nod approvingly and everyone leaves satisfied.

The pièce de résistance: The limited-edition Auspicious Golden Horse Yu Sheng ($268++ for 6-8 persons, 2 days advance order required) — an artful presentation in the form of a horse that's equal parts art installation and prosperity toss. This is the one that will be making its rounds in the family chat groups.
GILMORE & DAMIAN D'SILVA
For those who know, Gilmore & Damian D'Silva is THE new spot for old-school Singaporean-Chinese comfort done exceptionally well. Chef Damian D'Silva brings his signature touch to traditional flavours, creating heritage dishes so nostalgic in flavour yet so elevated in execution your grandpa might shed happy tears (and that grandaunt might start secretly texting her kids at the table asking why they weren’t the ones to book this place.)

Gilmore & Damian D'Silva Lunar New Year Set
Available 9 February to 3 March (weekdays dinner only, weekends lunch & dinner) is a set menu (388++ for 4 to 5 pax) including

COUNTER-CULTURE KID: MODERN TWISTS ON TRADITION
For young families, long-time-no-see friends, and anyone ready to shake up the reunion dinner format
FAT COW
Leave it to Fat Cow to turn yu sheng into a WAGYU experience. Because if you're going to toss for prosperity, why not do it with A5 Japanese beef?
Available 2-22 February 2026 (dine-in only), Fat Cow presents the Signature Gyu Sheng ($88++ per set, serves 4-5) featuring 120g of A5 Akune Gold Wagyu — yes, that's the GOOD stuff — alongside Chuka Kurage (jellyfish), Chuka Wakame (seaweed), and assorted vegetables. The complete opposite of ah gong’s yusheng, this is what happens when luxury wagyu specialists decide to honour tradition while flexing their expertise. The marbling alone is worth the Insta story.

Fat Cow's Winter Shiki Omakase (styled shots)
For the ultimate indulgent reunion meal, pair it with Fat Cow's
-
- signature Wagyu Omakase – a luxe spread of A5 Wagyu from different prefectures across Japan; or
- Shiki Omakase aka Omakase of the Four Seasons – a showcase of the freshest seasonal ingredients from Japan: elegantly crafted and presented with quiet precision
It'll have your friends asking, "so when can WE go?"
BEDROCK BAR & GRILL
Going beyond the regular CNY programme of steamed and braised dishes, Bedrock Bar & Grill brings its signature applewood fire game to CNY with platters that are equal parts impressive and delicious.
Available for both lunch and dinner from 9 February to 3 March 2026 (excluding 13-14 Feb, when the menu makes a switch for couples celebrating Valentine's), the smorgasbord of meaty deliciousness also includes the Citrus-Cured Beef Yusheng ($68++ a la carte, serves 3-4) comprising Australian Wanderer Beef with pickled papaya, red ginger, pomelo, mandarin orange, and crisp radishes.

The Reunion Feast Platter ($399++ for 4 - 5 persons) is a carnivore's dream, featuring Australian Tenderloin (250g), Australian F1 Ruby Wagyu Striploin (250g), USDA Prime Ribeye (280g), Mangalica Pork Tomahawk (300g) and sides of Bedrock Mac 'N' Cheese (the grown-up version, mind you, with gorgonzola, parmesan AND truffle), Grilled Broccolini, and Bedrock Apple Crumble for dessert.
Or go big with the Abundance Feast Platter ($688++ for 6-9 persons), stacked with a WHOLE KILOGRAM EACH of Woodfire Grilled Kombu Cured OP Ribeye and Dry-Aged Porterhouse. Adding variety are the Whole Baked Snapper (900g) and a Mangalica Pork Tomahawk (300g), alongside a feast of side dishes.
BEDROCK ORIGIN
The island sibling at Oasia Resort Sentosa, Bedrock Origin brings a coastal chill vibe to CNY celebrations. From the same period as Bedrock Bar & Grill (9 Feb - 3 March, excluding 13-14 Feb), the celebratory platters kick things off with Citrus-Cured Hamachi Yusheng ($68++ a la carte, serves 3-4) before moving on to a surf-and-turf feast.
On the Bountiful Feast Platter ($399++ for 4-5 persons), a Seafood Boil with King Crab, White Clam, Squid in light fish stock with potatoes, sausage, and corn shares the spotlight with a 21-Day Aged Double Cut Bone-In Striploin (1kg) grilled over applewood.

Bedrock Origin's Opulent Feast
The Opulent Feast Platter ($688++ for 6-9 persons) is a spread featuring 7-Day Kosher Salt-Aged Swordfish Loin (600g) — dry-aged for intensified flavor, a Smoked Barbecue Pork Belly (500g) with crispy crackling, Garlic Butter White Clams (1kg) and a 21-Day Aged Striploin (1kg).
As if not lavish enough, both platters also include sides of Mac 'N' Cheese, Sweet Potato Hash, Chilli Tiger Prawns and Char-grilled Spring Vegetables. There’s even dessert of fluffy Monkfruit Steamed Cake to end the meal on a sweet note.
SHISEN HANTEN BY CHEN KENTARO
The MICHELIN-starred Chūka Szechwan Ryori specialist brings Japanese precision and Szechwan boldness to your CNY table. This is what happens when tradition gets a sophisticated, cross-cultural glow-up.
Available lunch 9 Feb - 3 March and dinner 2 Feb - 3 March 2026 are seven set menus ($168++ to $388++), each showcasing Chef Chen Kentaro's commitment to peak seasonality and premium ingredients.

From the accessible Peace Menu ($168++) with Prosperity Salmon Yu Sheng, Wok-fried Prawns with Fresh Lily Bulb, Braised South Australian 6-head Abalone, and Crispy Duo-flavour Nian Gao Roll; the menus progressively amp up the luxury with dishes like Foie Gras Chawanmushi crowned with hand-picked Alaskan king crab roe sauce, Roasted Irish Silver Hill Duck, Barbecued Suckling Pig, and at the pinnacle — Buddha Jumps Over the Wall.
Another shining star of the season is the Wok-fried Glutinous Rice with Foie Gras, Chinese Sausage & Black Truffle: toothsome glutinous rice stir-fried with aromatic Chinese sausages, Canadian foie gras, soy seasonings, white truffle oil, then topped with generous shavings of Yunnan black truffle. Available in select menus and as takeaway ($75 nett), it promises true umami heaven.
