SHARING JUGS, 1-ALFARO
A new lifestyle destination on the rooftop of Labrador Tower, 1-Alfaro offers a unparalleled panorama of Singapore’s southernmost shore- and skyline. Hosting two concepts – La Torre and La Luna, the throughline between both is the rich culinary traditions of Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region, especially the idea of gathering together, sharing food, drink and laughter.

Naturally, the menu offers several sharing options including inventive Sharing Jugs (technically from the La Luna menu although available also in La Torre!) that are perfect for groups of 2 to 3, encouraging communal enjoyment and social connection.

The team generously shares a couple of fun recipes with us. They’re easy, too: simply mix all the ingredients together in the serving vessel!

FESTIVE SANGRIA, 1918 HERITAGE BAR
With a name that pays homage to the year of construction of the heritage mansion in which it’s located, little wonder that 1918 Heritage Bar’s menu is centred on the heritage and culture of The Alkaff Mansion and The Alkaffs, the spice, sugar and coffee trading family who built it.

The bar team shares a modern Sangria recipe – with options for customisation, so you can create your very own! Your taste will also guide the quantities for this, so you can choose to add more wine and spirit if something more alcohol-forward.
